Four students from our school achieved outstanding recognition at the 34th Hanmoe Literary Writing Contest(한뫼백일장), competing among more than 200 talented middle and high school students across Jeju Province. Organized by the Jeju Secondary Korean Language Education Research Association and supported by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education and the Jemin Ilbo, the annual festival aims to foster creative writing talents and expand the literary community by bringing students and Korean language teachers together.
The writing contest took place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Ara Middle School, where participants were asked to write poetry or prose based on five prompts revealed on-site: "Login," "Path," "Temperature," "Classroom," and "Family." A total of 15 students represented our school in this competitive event—3 in the poetry division and 12 in the prose division.
