Discovering Our Hidden Gems

Editor's Note

As an English teacher, I often feel that looking at students only through the lens of a single subject is like looking at a tiny piece of a vast universe. Sometimes, a student who feels discouraged in English class becomes a superstar on the sports field or creates magic on a blank canvas.

These moments are a "pleasant shock" to me, reminding me that his potential is far greater than what we see inside the four walls of a classroom. This series aims to capture the "multi-dimensional" sides of our students, moving beyond their performance in class to celebrate his true passions and talents.

"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
— Albert Einstein

Teacher’s Comment: "Learning a new language like English is about expanding one's world, and seeing his incredible pencil sketches showed me just how vast his world already is. I hope his artistic passion continues to fuel his confidence in all his studies."
